We are looking for a new Cross Country Center Attendant to join The Highlands team! You will be responsible for providing quality service to our guests, answering any questions they may have, and setting them up with cross country skis and lessons, snowshoeing and fat tire biking.This is a full-time or part-time position, with flexible scheduling, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the various perks that come with working at an amazing resort.

Responsibilities
The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.
- Develop a knowledge of the all the activities provided through the Cross County Center.
- Develop knowledge of the entire property so you can assist guests with questions.
- Answer telephones promptly using proper telephone etiquette and appropriate script.
- Keep Cross Country Center Manager fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of possible significance.
- Greet all guests with a smile and inquire to their needs.
- Learn all procedures for rental forms and waivers that need to be completed before rental equipment can leave the shop.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures, credit card processing and room charges.
- Assisting guests with accurate information on products sold in store.
- Assist with some outdoor work such as cleaning snow outside the Cross Country Center.
- Help guests get cross country skis and boots on and off.
- Help customers make selections and offer suggestions and opinions with confidence.
- Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance of store and merchandise.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds as well as reach, bend and assist with putting on and taking off equipment for guests
- Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or POS are a plus
