Kindergarten Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our educational team at a Private Christian School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood and/or elementary education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment. This role involves working closely with young children, guiding their development through hands-on learning and structured activities. A focus on individual growth and the ability to communicate effectively with both students and parents is essential.

Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood/elementary education standards.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Facilitate physical education activities to promote health and wellness among students.
- Utilize hands-on principles to enhance learning experiences for children.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to a supportive teaching community.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends and techniques.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education & valid teaching license is preferred.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including proofreading abilities.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies for children is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate physical education and play-based learning approaches.
- A nurturing demeanor combined with the ability to maintain classroom discipline effectively.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
