Local Dispatcher

Job Summary :

The dispatcher plays a critical role in every aspect of branch operations and works closely with the Operations Manager, Service Teams and Administrative staff to ensure that we are operating safely, providing quality service and meeting required deadlines / benchmarks.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

Oversees drivers, contractors, move associates and warehouse associates in close collaboration with the Operations Manager. Responsible for executing daily operational plans.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Responsible for the morning dispatch of all service teams.
• Completes and tracks background checks and drug tests for all non-employees (contract labor).
• Monitors all crews with multiple jobs each day.
• Oversees the daily warehouse schedule to confirm proper allocation of resources.
• Monitors Samsara to ensure compliance with DOT Hours of Service regulations.
• Responsible for managing overtime
• Reviews quality reports with all service providers and is expected to go over the positive and negative results.
• Performs safety inspections on equipment and in the warehouse.
• Monitors all employee crew’s departure and arrival times and is expected to ensure efficiency.
• Ensures uniform compliance with service teams.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
