What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Virtual Surveyor (Remote) position at The Hilldrup Companies?
JOB SUMMARY:
Primarily responsible for conducting pre-move surveys via video technology. Surveys will involve meeting with customers virtually through our artificial intelligence platform, Yembo. These virtual surveys will help to accurately determine weight of shipments and note any and all crating and special preparation should any be required. Surveyor is required to fully understand the functions of video surveying technology and how to correctly connect the customer via video and lead him/her through their residence.
Must be able to navigate through Quotes-to-Go, MoversSuite, and Yembo, in order to prepare accurate survey results, and sync them to the correct account. Also responsible for noting and assuring that access to location is suitable for a moving van. Daily contact with customers, Hilldrup sales managers, coordinators, national account and government account personnel, origin and destination agents, and United Van Lines' Headquarters. Will need to be comfortable with technology as well as being in front of customers and communicating with Hilldrup coordinators and managers daily.

- Conducts pre-move video estimates for national account, RMC, military, government, and international customers.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ business experience in customer service, account management, and/or the moving/relocation industry with two or more years’ experience in international business.
At least 2 to 4 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
License/Certification:
None required.
