Description
Title: IT Intern PC Support
The IT Intern PC Support will be supporting the IT department for the Spring/Summer. The IT PC Support Intern will learn key fundamental business skills, assist on projects, new users setups, configurations, and hardware/software troubleshooting under the guidance of professional staff.
The IT Intern PC Support duties shall include but not be limited to the following:
- Tracking tickets and turnaround on resolution of IT issues
- Help desk and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues in plant and office.
- Administer and support a Windows computer network and applications.
- Maintain control records.
- Research new technology and recommend solutions for possible process/data improvements.
- Troubleshoot equipment such as printer and scanners and other peripherals.
- Assist in Ethernet cabling as needed
- Contribute to IT documentation for new or updated processes and procedures.
- Assist in new PC and user setups
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Enrolled in programs Bachelors degree with concentration in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Repair or related field.
- Good communication skills, Structured way of working, Willing to learn and research new technology, Punctual, Respect for yourself and others, Excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems, 2 years minimum experience.
Salary : $15 - $24
