Job Summary
Receives, verifies, and records incoming materials and supplies and performs a variety of routine clerical duties to support Warehouse operations.
Essential Job Functions *
Performs daily invoicing and tracking of customer orders, communicating between sales staff and customer service.
Records shipment details in the ‘Manual Receiving Log.’ and enters packing slip data into the computer.
Prepares and applies identification labels to goods.
Generates and prints work orders for raw goods.
Reviews and reconciles daily receipts.
Creates and maintains necessary reports, spreadsheets, files and correspondence, including Argent software.
Handles the overflow from the receiving operation and the production reporting process.
Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic problems. Reports complex problems to Supervisor.

Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong PC skills, including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
Able to work accurately with numbers.
Able to maintain confidential information.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and vendors and deal tactfully with the public.
Good organization skills; able to prioritize workload and meet multiple deadlines.

Work Environment
Shipping/Receiving: Fast-paced, standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.
Physical Demands
Shipping/Receiving: Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 200 lbs.
