Job Summary
Warehouse supervisors oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing inventory levels, ensuring the efficient delivery of goods, supervising staff, and securing the warehouse & inventory.
Essential Job Functions *
Responsible for the overall health & safety and well-being of the team members and enforcement of all health & safety practices.
Responsible in partnership with Human Resource for recruitment, training, setting action and targets, appraising and managing performance, development, coaching and general support of team.
Oversees daily staff meetings with warehouse floor staff.
Responsible for time management for all team members.
Ensure trucks are loaded and/or offloaded as required
Oversees assigned operational area and ensure KPI targets are met, and staff complies with processes.
Controls and releases pre issued packaging requisitions for the pulling of product from the warehouses.
Check’s material and schedules work.
Ensures that warehouse policies and procedures are followed, and that the workplace is clean and safe.
Performs various functions in WM and RF per job requirements.
Maintains daily production records for all staff and prepared weekly and monthly production reports
Develops, recommends and implements new policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
Monitor’s requirement of warehouse supplies for inbound and submits orders for approval.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education & Experience
Secondary school diploma or higher
3-5 years in a supervisory position in a distribution environment.
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong communication skills both written and spoken.
Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office Suite, AS400 Knowledge & Inbound Scheduling System
Good product knowledge
Good organizational and planning skills
Material handling equipment knowledge and certification considered an asset.
Hands on leadership experience with an eye for detail.
Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment.
