Job Summary
Coordinates a variety of field projects including new store sets, re-sets, and conversions to ensure that the company provides value added services to customers.
Essential Job Functions
Works with Hillman corporate staff and customers to plan, schedule, and implement projects. Addresses and resolves issues in a timely manner.Coordinates the successful assembly of product displays and merchandising systems at customer locations.Supervises temporary employees and third-party merchandisers at customer locations.Maintains excellent customer relations at the store level.Serves as a back up to Sales and Service Representatives as needed.Maintains ongoing communication with supervisor. Submits required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.Maintains required records and manages expenses within company budgets.Maintains a current knowledge of company products, field operations, and customer account specifications.Travels constantly within the United StatesWork involves frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, climbing, and lifting.Work involves exposure to dust and occasional dirty conditions.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalentTwo years field service or merchandising experience, preferable in a large-scale retail environment.Knowledge of Word, Excel, and WindowsKnowledge of plan-o-grams - able to work off plan-o-grams in an efficient manner. Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong organization, planning skills, and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and deal tactfully with the public.Able to travel 80 - 90% of the time.
