We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines.
- Help with food handling, ensuring all items are stored, prepared, and served in compliance with health regulations.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Buss tables after meals, ensuring that dining areas are tidy and ready for the next service.
- Support the culinary team by performing various tasks as needed, including cooking simple dishes or assisting with meal assembly.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with residents during meal times and addressing any dietary needs or concerns.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food service and report any issues or hazards to management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or as a Dietary Aide is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Physical capability to lift items up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods during meal preparation and service.
