Hinckley Yachts, a premier boat builder and service provider is seeking a Quality and Warranty Administrator who will play a critical role in improving product quality, reducing warranty claims, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for overseeing warranty administration, tracking quality-related metrics, and maintaining documentation related to product quality and warranty processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, service yards, and vendors to drive continuous product improvement.
Product Quality Improvement & Warranty Management
- Work to enhance product quality and reduce warranty-related costs through product improvements.
- Oversee warranty administration, including processing claims, analyzing trends, and working with relevant teams to bring awareness to recurring issues.
- Generate and maintain quality and warranty reports, covering key metrics such as occurrence rates, warranty spending, and product performance trends.
- Track and assess vendor quality, ensuring suppliers meet required quality standards and addressing any deviations.
Quality and Warranty Administration
- Develop, update, and maintain process documentation to support quality and warranty workflows.
- Organize and manage process books that outline standard operating procedures and best practices for quality control and warranty processing.
- Oversee the creation, revision, and distribution of owner’s manuals, ensuring clarity and accuracy in product usage and maintenance guidelines.
- Maintain and oversee product registration records, ensuring accurate data collection and supporting warranty validation processes.
Requirements
