The Hinckley Company, known for building and servicing strong, seaworthy and beautiful yachts, is seeking a Sales Administrator in the Portsmouth, Office.
The Sales Administrator will report directly to the VP of Sales and provide crucial support to regional Sales Directors in marketing and selling Hinckley branded yachts. This full-time role involves administrative duties, sales support, event planning, and occasional weekend responsibilities. The ideal candidate will work independently due to the frequent travel of the Sales Directors.
- Maintaining office operations (supplies, literature, shipping).
- Logging emails and ensuring seamless day-to-day functionality.
- Lead generation and follow-up (research, email, direct mail).
- Managing Salesforce database, inputting leads, and generating reports.
- Supporting Sales Directors with tasks like literature distribution, booking travel, and expense reports.
- Collaborating on regional marketing initiatives and updating web content.
- Assisting with marketing used boat listings.
- Coordinating logistics for events and boat shows.
- Negotiating contracts for catering, lodging, and other services.
- Creating promotional materials and setting up/breaking down events.
- Acting as gatekeeper or secondary salesperson during events.
- Contributing to the Sales Handbook for best practices and policies.
- Undertaking tasks as assigned by the VP of Sales.
