We are seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to join our team in Savannah, GA. Responsibilities:
• Manages the scheduling of service work, coordinates with foremen
• Monitors and leads timely improvement action to meet customer satisfaction and ensures on time delivery
• Manages Quality Assurance program to ensure all work is done on time and budget
• Manages a team of Trade Foremen to efficiently complete approved work on boats
• Conducts performance evaluations, and sets departmental goals and expectations
• Coaches and provides technical expertise to resolve workflow issues and creates and ensures corrective actions are implemented
• Maintains and updates yard communication tools
• Counseling and discipline of employees when needed
Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years direct supervision & management experience
- B.S. in business or related trade school desirable
- Marine or automotive industry experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization
- PC knowledge: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
