Position Summary :
This position will act as a representative of HHP's 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline with a goal of building relationships, systems and partnerships with 911, Rhode Island First Responders, Public Safety Answering Point (PSAPs) and Municipalities. The 988 / 911 Coordinating Community Liaison will also ensure appropriate access to crisis services and referrals to meet the behavioral health needs of all Rhode Islanders. Promotes the Horizon Healthcare Partners' goal to divert mental health crisis situations from emergency rooms, police, fire departments, etc., to a more supportive, appropriate care environment through the 988 call center system
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree and / or five years related work experience
- Leadership experience within the First Responder environment and / or PSAP field
- Strong sense of self, positive attitude and an inspirational presence possessing a solid work
