Full Time High School English Teacher :
Location : Valley Village, California
Responsibilities :
- Teach five classes of English literature and language arts across 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades.
- Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and academic levels, including gifted / AP students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and academic growth.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the needs of all students, ensuring both challenge and support as appropriate.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate records of grades and attendance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional practices, ensuring consistency and coherence across grade levels.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 1 : 00 PM (with some flexibility and minimal meetings).
