Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven Outside Sales Specialist to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the drayage industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the transportation industry, excellent sales skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the drayage industry

• Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients

• Conduct sales calls, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments

• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in transportation sales (drayage, trucking, or logistics)

• Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Strong understanding of the transportation industry, including drayage operations and regulations

• Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of self-motivation and discipline

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Compensation:

• Base salary: $50,000 per year

• Commission: $30 per container (average client brings in $15,000-$30,000 in business per year)

• Uncapped commissions: earn $100,000-$200,000 in the first year, with potential to build to $250,000-$500,000 per year
