Job Title: Overnight Trucking Dispatcher

Location: Wilmington, CA

Job Type: Full-time, Overnight Shift

Hours: 9pm-5am

Pay Rate: $20-25 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Overnight Trucking Dispatcher to join our team in Wilmington, CA. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of our trucks and drivers during overnight hours. Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and dispatch trucks and drivers for overnight deliveries

- Communicate with drivers and other stakeholders via phone, email, and other electronic means

- Monitor and manage driver hours, routes, and deliveries to ensure timely and efficient service

- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during overnight hours

- Maintain accurate records and reports, including driver logs and delivery manifests

- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

- 1-2 years of experience in trucking dispatch or a related field

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Familiarity with trucking software and systems, such as TMW or McLeod

- Ability to work overnight hours, including weekends and holidays
