- Creating detailed designs using CAD software
- Collaborating with engineers, marketing, manufacturing, and leadership teams
- Testing and simulating designs to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Identifying and developing suppliers for prototypes and production
- Creating complete documentation packages
- Supporting production of final products
"Requirements:
"To be successful in this role, you will need:

- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-10 years relevant work experience
- A proven track record of designing and launching products
- Consumer Product Development experience highly preferred
- Superior proficiency in CAD modeling, Solidworks preferred
- Proficiency in creating drawing packages with a solid understanding of GD&T
- Demonstrated proficiency in design for injection molded, machined and metal components and assemblies
- Knowledge of Printed Circuit Assembly fabrication and electrical wiring
- Experience with hands-on prototyping and use of shop tools
- Demonstrated critical thinking in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills
