What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accounting Manager position at The Hiring Advisors?
A growing manufacturer of CPG products is expanding operations in Glendora, CA, and seeks a Senior Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain monthly reconciliations, manual journal entries, and financial statements for board review
- Oversee and assist with the timely and accurate completion of the monthly financial close
- Manage the annual audit and support the outside tax advisors in the preparation of the tax compliance returns
- Participate in weekly leadership meetings with C-level executives and present monthly financial reports to drive strategic decisions.
- Assist the Director of Supply Chain with inventory control and cost analysis policies and procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of a 13-week cash flow forecast and cash management.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against the budget
- Provide finance and accounting support to operational management, including actual data and forecasted data.
- Participate in special projects and analysis as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4 years’ experience in accounting, auditing, and inventory control within manufacturing
- CPA license a plus
- Proficient in Sage 300
