Our client, a leader in the Design and Planning space, has immediate needs for Civil EIT (Engineers in Training) to join their team onsite here in Greenville, SC. This is a junior-level role, but not entry-level. Candidates will need at least one year of experience to be considered. Our client is targeting a salary range of $50,000–$75,000, but we encourage all qualified candidates to apply, as compensation will be based on experience (BOE) and overall fit for the role.
The Civil Engineer EIT will be responsible for assisting with civil engineering design, planning, stormwater management, and other related tasks to support project development.
- Civil Engineering Design and Planning skills
- Experience in Stormwater Management
- Knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and fundamentals
- Design Fundamentals (Site Grading and Earthwork, Utility Design, Stormwater Management, Roadway/Highway Design, Structural Basics)
- Geotechnical Considerations (Soil Mechanics, Foundation Design)
- Permitting and Compliance (Design Permitting, Environmental Compliance)
- Software Proficiency (CAD Tools like AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation, GIS Knowledge, Hydraulic and Sewer Design Software)
- Construction and Materials (Construction Management, Material Properties)
- Communication and Documentation (Technical Writing and Plan Preparation)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certification - registration or ability to obtain within six months
Technical Environment:
Autodesk Civil 3D, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, SEDCAD, IDEAL
3 Must-Haves for the Position:
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Civil Engineer
- Proven expertise in performing calculations for stormwater management, pipe hydraulics, water and sewer systems, and site layout. Familiarity with jurisdictional regulations and permitting processes, ensuring designs meet local, state, and federal require
This position is 100% onsite in Greenville, SC. This role is not hybrid or remote, however there is tremendous opportunity for growth, you will work on very diverse projects while also getting to see them built.
Salary : $50,000 - $75,000
