Our client, a leading Construction company in Columbia, S.C. has an immediate need for a Construction Project Manager/General Contractor to join their team in Greenville, SC to gear up for new business expected in 2025. Perm Salary DOE with a midpoint of $115K plus 20% commission on gross margin on completed projects.
This role has a tremendous upside, as our client is looking for an entrepreneurial spirit who wants to take on the expansion of the company brand in the commercial space.
- Bidding on construction projects.
- Preparing and sending estimates for construction projects.
- Attend walk-throughs, scope meetings, review blueprints.
- Request vendor and subcontractor pricing.
- Communicate with architects and subcontractors regarding project updates.
- Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of all designated projects.
- Securing the proper permits necessary for projects.
- Oversee projects daily.
- Work with project supervisor to ensure safe and smooth field operations.
- Ensure budgets are being met.
- Driving new project sales
Technical Environment:
The candidate will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office products as well as Construction Project Management software
- Construction / Construction Management experience and desire to run their own business. Must be familiar with Commercial projects and have led projects from start to finish on their own. General Contractor preferred.
- Works well with Suppliers and Contractors.
- Computer literate – Will be working with multiple software platforms so should have some familiarity with construction project software and Microsoft Office.
- Must be self-sufficient, can multi-task on a high level, and not need Supervision.
