Position Title : Electrical Controls Technician
Job Type : Full Time, Direct Hire
Location : Burleson, TX
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 11 : 30pm - 8am; flexibility for overtime and weekend project work required
Pay Rate : Starting at $35 / hour (eligible for overtime)
About the Role :
We are seeking an Electrical Controls Technician to support the electrical and mechanical needs of our industrial manufacturing equipment during the night shift. This newly created role is essential for providing critical electrical support for the night shift, driven by the facility's ongoing growth and expansion. In this role, you will troubleshoot and repair electrical components, including PLC systems, VFDs, and low and high voltage controls. You will also perform scheduled maintenance, assist with equipment breakdowns, and support both mechanical and electrical systems, including motor circuits and hydraulic / pneumatic systems. Occasional weekend project work may be required.
Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical experience in PLCs, VFDs, electrical controls, motor circuits, mechanical systems, and hydraulic / pneumatic systems.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation software (FTView, Studio 5000, CCW) is preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including recent graduates, trade school attendees, and those with extensive industry experience.
