Travel : 50% - Territory Middle TN to NC border

Salary : $100,000 to $125,000 project bonuses

Education / Certifications :
Bachelors degree in construction sciences, mechanical engineering or civil engineering preferred or equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
Required Experience :
5 years WWTP / WTP construction experience or Heavy Civil projects.Ability to communicate with integritySUMMARY
The job duties of a Project Manager are to oversee all aspects of the building process, working closely with engineers, architects and owners to develop plans, budgets including project cost management and construction schedules for the client. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall development of a construction strategy for the specific project. Project Manager must use technical ability acquired from higher education and prior experience to properly construct highly specialized water and wastewater systems.Project management experience is essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job, the Project Manager must use their skillset to successfully deliver a completed project to the client having reached set goals meeting the budget, safely and in accordance with the Project Specifications.
Project Manager must use technical ability acquired from higher education and prior experience to properly construct highly specialized water and wastewater systems.Select and negotiate with Subcontractors and Vendors / suppliers in order to complete a project within a specific budget. -Define the goals and different elements required for a project.Develop a construction strategy / plan.Follow a timeline and perform effectively within tight time scales.Respond to delays and problems when they occur and be prepared to make the required changes to move the project past the issue. -Identify high priority worthy tasks and balance the needs of the different tasks against the available resources and project deadline.Keep costs controlled within a tight budget.Look for the most effective approach to getting the results needed using the resources available.Provide required explanations for the builders and other professionals associated with the project.Coordinate and collaborate with engineers, architects, specialists, inspectors and job superintendents.Ensure the construction project complies with all building codes and any other legal or regulatory requirements (e.g., zoning laws, licensing and permit requirements, contract documents).Monitor, oversee and direct the scope of a project.Hold and attend meetings with clients, engineers, architects, specialists, inspectors, superintendents, vendors and construction personnel. -Report and give updates on the project status.Ensure the project goals are delivered without unnecessary delays. -Maintain a good client relationship.Prepare and submit Pay ApplicationsReview & Approve / Reject vendor invoicesProject site management
