Customer Service Specialist
Calling all customer service, retail or hospitality candidates! We have the job you’ve been looking for! We’ve partnered with a prestigious university in the Cambridge, MA area looking to bring on a Customer Service Specialist to assist visitor experience on a 6–8-week temporary basis.
This is temporary for 6-8 weeks.
Compensation: $20-21/hr.
Days/Hours: This position will be on-site Sunday-Thursday.
Hours are: Sunday- Thursday, must be open to work the day shift (9-5:30PM) and/or evening shift (1PM-9:30PM) hours
Responsibilities:
- Will welcome all visitors to the building; staff the admissions desk; learn about the campus and the building’s collections, exhibitions, and programs to provide information to visitors; and ensure gallery security when stationed as a gallery attendant, monitoring guests as they move through the gallery spaces.
Qualifications:
- Looking for someone with 1-2 years of customer service experience ideally coming from a people facing environment of either a restaurant, hotel, or retail.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be willing to stand for long periods of time
