Responsibilities

Our Technology Staffing team is looking to speak with Boston area candidates who would be a good fit according to the specifications below:

• Work within a cross-functional scrum team to design and develop user-facing product features using a variety of technologies
• Develop sophisticated software without supervision and perform advanced refactoring
• Fix complex bugs and demonstrate advanced debugging skills
• Build, test, deploy, monitor, and support the software the scrum team is responsible for
• Embrace test-driven development techniques and take responsibility for quality and maintainability of the product
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5 years' experience as a software developer with strong fundamentals including system design, algorithms, and familiarity with microservices or SOA
• Broad knowledge and proficiency in multiple programming languages, frameworks, tools, technologies, and concepts
• Strong knowledge of Java or a modern server-side programming language like Go, JavaScript, AngularJS and React
• HTML5/CSS, JSON, SQL, message queuing infrastructures (e.g., RabbitMQ, other), Docker ecosystem. AWS, REST (the concept), Jira, Confluence
