Job Title: Banquet Manager
Job Summary:
The Holly Vault Collection, a premier event venue located in Holly, Michigan, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee all aspects of front-of-house operations for our events. As Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for providing Front of House (FOH) oversight and staff support, including supervising the daily operations of our events and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service.
Class: Full-time hourly
Hours: 40 hours per week /-
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Front of House (FOH) operations for events at The Holly Vault Collection, ensuring that all events run smoothly and that guests receive exceptional service.
- Manage daily operations efficiently and uphold The Holly Vault Collection standards, including ensuring that opening and closing procedures.
- Hire, train, and educate FOH staff on venue and event procedures.
- Define the company brand through hospitality and service, providing a hospitable environment for our guests and ensuring that all staff uphold our high standards of service.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments regarding food service, events, and products, ensuring that FOH operations are aligned with the broader goals of the organization.
- Ensure that all events are properly staffed, with appropriate staffing levels and staff with the necessary skills to provide excellent service.
- Maintain inventory and ordering, ensuring that stock levels are adequate and that orders are placed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Work with our in-house catering team to ensure food and beverage quality and presentation, and to provide a hospitable environment for our guests.
- Communicate effectively verbally and technologically, working collaboratively with FOH and BOH staff, management, and guests.
Reporting to: General Manager
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous banquet management or FOH supervisor experience in hospitality, logistical coordination, and problem resolution.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a flexible schedule.
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 40lbs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with FOH and BOH staff, management, and guests.
