Job Description
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for providing logistics, strategic planning, and space management support for our growing government customer. We are seeking a Logistic Specialist who is able to thrive in evolving environments and manage cyber-related exercised, real-word operations, and training events.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and validate all logistics and space support requirements across all four geographical locations with specifically elevated project execution tracking at Ft. Meade, MD Headquarters.
- Conduct research and analysis to assist efforts to review requirements and provide logistical management of facility projects and related IT mission infrastructure requirements.
- Develop and maintain space requirements to support cyber-related exercises, real-world operations, and training events.
- Gather and prepare supporting documentation to support leadership in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, implementing and management of operations strategic planning, and space requirements.
- Coordinate the sending and receiving of Liaison Officers (LNO’s) from all partnering organizations and maintain sustainable relations with all LNO’s organizations support staff.
- Conduct research and analysis to assist efforts to review requirements and provide customer service responses to LNOs and other partners.
Qualifications
- Familiar working with technical professionals and other SMEs.
- Candidate must be able to clearly articulate the status of assigned projects.
- Candidate must have excellent customer service skills and ability to work closely with the customer to collect space/project requirements.
- Candidate must have a Space Management background: understanding space, space moves, projects, and space utilization.
- Candidate must be able to multi-task and will be responsible for managing several space moves, projects, and other situations that require juggling multiple things at one time.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products; MS Project or Primavera experience would be helpful but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field and minimum of 5-8 years of related experience. An additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree with a total of 7-10 years total experience.
- Candidate must possess a current Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS//SCI) level clearance with CI polygraph.
