3. Applicant must have at least 3-5 years of home repair/construction/handyman experience
4. Applicant must live within a 30-minute drive or less of Leesburg Va.
Note: This is NOT an entry level position
About us
The Home Crafters LLC is a small home repair and remodeling business that is family owned and operated. We are located in Leesburg, Va. and service all of the Loudoun County Area and some parts of the other surrounding counties. We do full-service home repairs, carpentry as well as small remodels, etc...
Our Business is growing, and we are looking to add a skilled project manager. In this position we need:
· Someone with experience in running a small team of employees on a construction site
· Someone with experience in executing small or large jobs from start to finish
· Someone with excellent customer service (Interaction, communication and professionalism
· Someone with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Someone who can work flexibly and is quick to adapt to situations and changes
You must have the following skills
- Flooring Repair & Installation
- Interior and Exterior Trim Repair
- Interior and Exterior Door Replacement
- Hanging Drywall & Repairing Drywall – Mudding and Taping
- Tile Installation – to include cutting, mortaring, grouting, sealing
- Sanding, Prepping, Priming & Painting (cut in experience)
- Installing Plumbing Fixtures
- Caulking
- Electrical experience
- Simple Tasks - Hanging TV, Pictures, Mirrors, etc...
- Carpentry Skills – Crown molding, board and batten, baseboards, etc…
Qualifications
- Must be extremally reliable (Punctuality is of utmost importance)
- Strong Communication Skills
- Great Work Ethic
- Follow all working safety Guidelines
- Ability to lift 60lbs
- Must be able to sit, stand, squat for periods of time
- Must be able to follow multi-step directions and complete them in the manner in which we require.
Requirements
- Must speak & understand English
- Pass a criminal background check
- Must have reliable transportation that can be used to transport you to and from jobs and have enough space to hold all equipment, up to a 5ft ladder
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Position based in Leesburg Va. - Must be within 30 minutes of Leesburg
- Authorized to work in the United States as a W-2 Employee
- High School Diploma or GED
- Higher Education or Trade Certification (Preferred)
- Must have a minimum of 3 years handyman experience or trade experience
- Must have a minimum of 3 years project management experience in construction
- Must be able to provide 2 professional references related to a project management position.
