Position Purpose
The Services License Specialist is responsible for ensuring Home Depot's Services compliance with state and local regulatory license requirements. This role is also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with state and local officials overseeing Field compliance activities (e.g. permitting, inspections, etc.).

The Services License Specialist is responsible for ensuring Home Depot's Services compliance with state and local regulatory license requirements. This role is also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with state and local officials overseeing Field compliance activities (e.g. permitting, inspections, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
- 65% Ensure Service Providers are complying with all state and local regulatory contractor requirements (licensure, permitting, and inspection) and trade standards; Oversee Field compliance activities, such as jobsite Quality Audits and jobsite inspections.
- 25% Meet with local officials and/or trade groups to discuss and/or resolve compliance issues, propose solutions and suggested process improvements to Service Compliance.
- 10% Perform all duties necessary to attain and/or maintain specific trade licenses on behalf of HD USA, such as take state regulated exams and complete continuing education requirements.
- This position reports to the Senior Manager of Service License Management.
- This position has no direct reports.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 20% of the time.
- Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).
- Usually in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes or odors.
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Must currently hold a FL General Contractor license
- Strong relationships with state and local regulatory agencies and/or trade organizations
- Bachelor's Degree
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must hold required State/Local licenses
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
