About the Role
The Home for Little Wanderers is committed to providing state-of-the-art residential treatment and therapeutic boarding school services to middle- and high-school-aged boys experiencing significant social-emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct care and supervision to students, including behavioral management and crisis intervention.
- Develop and implement recreational activities that promote social-emotional growth and skill development.
- Participate in daily group therapy sessions with students and provide feedback on progress.
- Assist with medication administration and complete all necessary documentation.
Requirements:
- 2 years' experience working in a similar setting with kids/adolescents, or seven years of parenting.
- HS Diploma
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Satisfactory completion of CPI training and Medication Administration Training required
