Description

Clinicians are an integral part of our well-established program of social workers, psychologists, family therapists, special educators, and allied health professionals serving adolescents and their families at the Wediko School in rural Windsor, NH. We are currently seeking a full-time Clinical Director for the campus.

How You'll Be Making A Difference

Provide clinical supervision for staff and oversee the clinical aspects of the program's operations. Under the general direction of the Campus Director, plan, direct, oversee and manage the operations and staff within the Campus Programs. Collaborate externally with referral sources to ensure a steady flow of eligible clients to these programs. Oversee the services and treatment plans of the clients and their families to ensure they are high quality and are consistent with the goals of the program.

  • Oversee the intake and discharge process and ensure all appropriate paperwork and all data entry is completed and delivered in a timely, efficient manner. Maintain program(s) census and ensure program(s) is following relevant agency guidelines.
  • Manage third-party billing and insurance issues.
  • Assign cases to staff and monitor the caseload level.
  • Maintain the utilization review process. Ensure quality assurance standards are met with regard to treatment planning, record keeping and documentation. Monitor the treatment of all clients.
  • Participate in clinical conferences and administrative team meetings. Serve on agency committees as needed such as clinical forum group.
  • Ensure services are coordinated and integrated. Regularly evaluate services and implement plans, with measurable outcomes, for continual improvement.
  • Establish, maintain and nurture working relationships with community agencies, and federal, state, and local agencies to ensure a steady flow of eligible clients to program(s).
  • Provide regular one-on-one supervision to key team members. Ensure regular feedback and guidance is provided for employee development and enhanced productivity. Administer the performance evaluations and performance management process.
  • Participate in the selection and termination of staff. Promote a positive work environment.
  • Establish, review and implement program(s) policies and procedures. In consultation with the Campus Director, continuously consider new processes and initiatives to improve and/or expand services as appropriate.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the annual operating budget for the program(s). Monitor performance against approved budget allocations, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Communicate with the Campus Director on issues related to budget or budget requests.
  • Participate in crisis prevention and intervention as needed.
  • Provide program leadership in the absence of the Campus Director.
  • Provide rotating on call coverage.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in social work, mental health or related discipline plus independent licensure (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) and 5 years clinical leadership experience required.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in a multi-disciplinary setting required.
  • Five years program-specific clinical experience.
  • Knowledge of children with complex psychiatric illnesses.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer, with the ability to learn new software applications.
