What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Retail Greenhouse Associate position at The Home & Garden Center?
We are a locally owned garden center (not a big box store) and have openings for an 2 individuals to work in our 8100 sq ft. retail green house at our garden center. You will assist customers with their plant choices.
Other responsibilities will include:
- watering plants
- unloading plants from delivery trailer
- place/display plants on tables for sale
- keep the green house neat
- and other duties.
Your work schedule will include weekends. Our hours are Monday - Saturday 8:00-6:00 and Sunday 10:00-4:00. You would receive 2 weekdays in a row off each week.
Prior experience in a garden center or experience with annual / seasonal plants is preferred.
Wage will depend upon experience - $12 - $15. Employee discount available.
