Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care and travel nursing.This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in various settings. As a Field LVN, you will provide nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care while maintaining their dignity and comfort. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, perform routine assessments, administer treatments, and ensure that patients' needs are met in accordance with their care plans.\
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conducting initial and ongoing health assessments to monitor the patient’s condition, progress, and response to treatment.
- Administering Medications: Giving prescribed medications and ensuring that patients follow their medication schedules correctly.
- Patient Education: Teaching patients and their families about managing chronic conditions, understanding prescribed medications, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
- Monitoring Vital Signs: Checking and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and respiration to detect any changes in the patient's condition.
- Care Plan Implementation: Following the care plan developed by the healthcare provider, assisting with physical therapy, and helping the patient perform daily activities.
- Documentation: Keeping accurate records of patient care, including medical histories, treatments, and patient responses to therapies, and reporting any concerns to the supervising RN or physician.
- Emergency Response: Providing immediate care in emergencies and contacting the appropriate medical professionals when necessary.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Communicating and working with other members of the healthcare team (RNs, physicians, social workers, etc.) to ensure that the patient’s care plan is being followed.

Pay: $40.52 - $50.00 per hour
