Job Title: Marketing Liaison


The Marketing Liaison is accountable working alongside the Marketing
Director for the entire sales process: building prospect base and referral
base, maintaining the online sales tracking database, meeting and
exceeding all weekly sales goals and benchmark conversion ratios,
generating tours and securing deposits for move-ins. The ideal candidate
also has experience in relationship-building with professionals in effort
to generate leads and referrals to the community. Above all, you will
exhibit a passion for serving seniors while contributing to the positive
environment our residents are proud to call home.


Responsibilities:
  • Assists Marketing Director with phone inquiries and walk-in visitors
to drive occupancy.
  • Assists Marketing Director with the responsibility for outside
marketing visits to increase knowledge of senior care. Examples:
Bingo, Health Fairs, Career Fairs, Physician Offices, etc.
  • Discover the needs of prospective residents and their families and
attempt to find appropriate solutions to those needs (including,
potentially, a move to Independent Living, Assisted Living or Memory
Care).
  • Create and cultivate productive relationships with other businesses
and resources for senior adults, in effort to offer resources to
prospects and to receive referrals from those sources.
  • Document all planned and completed marketing activities in a provided
database at the community.
  • Serve as the liaison between Independent Living and the community.
Prioritize making visits, scheduling a monthly outing, and effective
communication.
  • Collaborate with the Administrator to strategize and develop creative
programs to identify and connect with key referral sources in the
community and identify ways to maintain and nurture those
relationships.
  • Work with the Administrator & Marketing Director to help ensure that
staff members receive inquiries appropriately and productively.
  • Assist the Administrator & Marketing Director with the development
of a marketing plan and assist in updating monthly or as needed to
address changing conditions or opportunities.
  • Adheres to procedures for fire, life safety, disaster, security,
worker safety and other emergency procedures.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA policies.
  • Seek out and perform other duties as assigned or needed.
  • Understands the mission of Homeplace is to ensure quality care and
services are being delivered to ensure each day is the best day
possible.

Qualifications:
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work alongside our aging
population!
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2-5 years of experience OR 4-6 years past
equivalent experience.
  • Must possess a general knowledge of laws and restrictions regarding
senior care, as well as a solid understanding of opportunities and
limits of other levels of care within senior living.
  • Thoroughness & detail oriented.
  • Goal- and result-oriented, as well as self-motivated.
  • Superior analytical, project management and organizational skills.
  • Sense of professional curiosity, desire to learn new things, and to
find / recommend solutions to problems
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills required along with the
heart and passion to work with older adults while providing the best
care possible.
  • Must have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, to be
flexible, to work well with many interruptions and have skill in
multi-tasking.
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Must exhibit and promote a high level of customer service,
hospitality, curiosity and friendliness towards all residents,
visitors, employees and the overall facility.
  • Collaborative team player able to establish effective working
relationships with team members.
  • Demonstrated experience in promoting a high level of customer service
and hospitality towards and among all residents, associates, and
visitors
  • Demonstrated communication excellence, verbally and in writing;
comfortable presenting to large groups.
  • Assume On-Call responsibilities on a rotational basis.
  • Completion of drug testing and criminal record background check upon
hire. Physical requirements include bending, standing, lifting,
stooping, sitting, walking, stretching, and ability to lift/carry up
to 50 pounds.
