We are seeking a reliable and experienced housekeeper to join our team at The Homestead Assisted Living Community. This is a part-time position with potential for additional hours.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces according to established standards and procedures.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, and sweep floors.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
- Assist with laundry and linen services.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
