The Hometown Pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, including tasks such as greeting and assisting customers, processing prescriptions, and maintaining inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and customers
- Learn to independently input patient data and medication orders
- Count, label, and package prescription drugs and supplies
- Submit prescriptions for third-party billing and troubleshoot issues
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- 1 year of pharmacy experience or training as a technician (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to twenty pounds
