What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Teller/CSR position at The Honesdale National Bank?
Responsible for the direct supervision of teller personnel engaged in the processing of customer transactions, the maintenance and control of vault cash; assisting tellers by answering questions and assisting with problems; performing all duties of a teller; providing training to teller personnel.
Responsible for a variety of duties relating to the opening and processing of new accounts of all types, the cross-selling of institution services to customers and prospective customers; providing support to other sales personnel, i.e. documentation, etc., may take loan applications as directed.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 2 years previous teller experience; supervisory experience preferred; previous cash handling experience and customer contact experience desired.
Skills: Excellent customer service skills, good communication skills, Microsoft 365 familiarity, customer focused, organized work habits, and ability to multi-task.
The successful candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule which will include some Friday evenings until 6 p.m. and some Saturdays until noon.
