The Role
Job Title: Senior Data Engineer (SDE-JN2)
Location: Los Angeles, California
Job Duties: Track and verify the quality of data from all sources; Take technical leadership on new data management projects and the restructuring of the current data architecture; Ensure all inbound production data loads are automated; Maintain and manage internal data load/transfer processes among databases/applications; Re-architect and refactor complex data pipelines - focusing on simplicity, reliability and fault-tolerance; Build data quality monitoring and reliability alerts and metrics to meet business SLAs; Intimately understand company’s data and operating models - work directly with business stakeholders to build out and troubleshoot data gaps and
problems; Build operational data flows and infrastructure - integrations running our day-to -day business operations, build new data integrations via Mulesoft to support business needs; Work with a variety of data sources and destinations: Amazon Redshift, MySQL, S3, Box, APIs, SFTP drops, etc. to support operations and business intelligence.
Education and Experience: Bachelor Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or related and 5 years progressive experience in job offered or related position.
