We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves working in various food service settings, including restaurants, catering events, and fine dining establishments. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, presentation, and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including kitchen equipment and dining spaces.
• Support the catering team during events by setting up food stations and serving guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and maintain quality standards.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment for both staff and customers.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills in hospitality and food service.

Skills

• Experience as a dietary aide or in food service roles such as hospitality, restaurant, or catering is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and fine dining standards is a plus.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to help others and contribute to team success.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
