The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Busser who is highly organized to work with our restaurant, The Lobby, and create a memorable guest experience.

Key Accountabilities :
Responsible for activities related to service of the restaurant, which includes preparation tasks, training and performing service as per standards set by the hotel.
Perform friendly, yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating, and waiting on all guests.
Perform pre-service and after-service procedures as per standards.
Ensure a consistency of the correct service techniques for all meal periods.
Have complete knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu, including ingredients, methods of preparation.
Support servers during service when required by server or management, for instance pouring water, juice, coffee, clearing, etc.

General Requirements :
Basic restaurant operation knowledge
Minimum of 1-year experience in a hospitality service field
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
Excellent written and spoken English
