What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales & Marketing Coordinator position at The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels LTD?
Working alongside the Director of Sales & Marketing at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, we are seeking someone to fill our Coordinator position, which primarily supports our Private Events team.

Key Accountabilities
Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor and great "connection" with people
Serve as liaison between managers, clients, and business partners
Respond to new business leads, ensuring comprehensive and accurate information is communicated to clients and managers
Prepare and send proposals, contracts, Event Orders, and related business correspondence to clients
Prepare and distribute internal communication documents and forms to all hotel departments, including EO's, resumes, VIP alerts, etc.
Maintain department's sales assets, templates and processes, as well as create new ones as needed
Handle incoming department phone calls and email inquiries
Other duties as assigned and required
General Requirements
Team player who works collaboratively supporting multiple people especially our Private Events team
Outstanding telephone etiquette and demeanor
Ability to coordinate and follow through on details
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and initiative
Ability to prioritize projects / multi-tasking capability
Able to maintain complete confidentiality
