We are looking for an experienced Senior Staffing Coordinator to join our team at The Honickman Companies. As a Senior Staffing Coordinator, you will play a key role in strengthening our organization by adding the best talent to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruiting and hiring candidates for various roles within the organization, including sourcing and screening applicants.
- Collaborating with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and candidate selection criteria, and organizing job fairs/recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
- Acting as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies, and coordinating pre-employment verification/background checks/drug testing.
- Extending verbal and written contingent job offers, and conducting new employee orientations.
- Maintaining accurate records for applicant tracking and uploading necessary checks/verification in appropriate files.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or similar field, with additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of educational requirements.
- Two years of relevant experience in talent acquisition role, including full cycle recruiting and utilizing sourcing strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain a valid Driver's License.
- Experience with MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with preference for experience in a union environment.
