At Canada Dry, our goal is to strengthen the organization by adding the best talent to our team. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR team in Landover, MD. The incumbent would be responsible for sourcing, identifying, screening, and hiring candidates for various roles within the organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to create sourcing strategies to locate candidates.


Additional responsibilities include:

  • Work with leadership to open job requisitions.
  • Coordinate with the hiring manager(s) to determine staffing needs and candidate selection criteria.
  • Organize and attend job fairs/recruitment events to build strong candidate pipeline.
  • Acts as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies.
  • Screens and interviews applicants.
  • Coordinates appropriate pre-employment verification/background checks/drug testing.
  • Extends verbal and written contingent job offers.
  • Conducts the orientation of new employees.
  • Maintain records for applicant tracking and upload necessary checks/verification in appropriate files.
  • Completes weekly reports on employment activity.
  • Conducts exit interviews with terminating employees.
  • Perform other duties as required.


EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or similar field. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Two years of relevant experience in talent acquisition role.
  • Experience in full cycle recruiting and utilizing sourcing strategies in locating candidates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
  • Experience with MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Prefer experience in a union environment.


This position requires you to be in the office and will require 10-15% travel.

Canada Dry offer a competitive salary of $58K-$68K. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision. Eligibility in benefit plans begin the first of the month after 60 days of employment. Five (5) days of sick leave; two (2) weeks of vacation accrued throughout the year; seven (7) Company Paid Holidays (pro-rated based on hire date) and a 401K Plan with employer match.

Salary : $58,000 - $68,000
