Who We're Looking For:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Spanish Teacher to join our vibrant middle school community. The ideal candidate will inspire young minds and educate them using our rigorous standards-based curriculum that emphasizes 21st-century skills.
Responsibilities:
- Teach high school-level Spanish (for high school credit) with a focus on fostering a deep understanding of fundamental skills and the ability to apply them in real-world situations.
- Provide differentiation that addresses students’ instructional needs and supports mastery of content-language objective(s).
- Sponsor competition teams or clubs.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Spanish into other disciplines and enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Assess student progress through formal and informal methods and tailor instruction to meet the needs of each student.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians about students' progress and engage them in the educational process.
- Maintain grades in a timely manner.
- Attend grade-level field experience.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification preferred
- Proven experience as an upper-level/high school Spanish teacher.
- Strong understanding of the Spanish language and skill with effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and creative.
