Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide support to students with special educational requirements, ensuring they have access to the curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, offering guidance and encouragement as needed.
- Facilitate small group activities focused on literacy education and math skills.
- Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and learning.
- Help maintain classroom organization, including preparing materials and managing supplies.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support student development.
Skills
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is essential.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for supporting diverse learners.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods.
- Strong skills in literacy education and math instruction to assist students effectively.
- Ability to build rapport with students and foster a supportive learning atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with teachers and parents.
