Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe for all occupants. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces.
- Maintain cleanliness through floor care techniques such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Assist with custodial duties including trash removal and recycling efforts.
- Carry out basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and residential painting when required.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues to management promptly.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
