WHO YOU ARE
You are a determined and enthusiastic Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who will act as the Director to manage behaviors in a school-based setting, and to create an atmosphere where faculty, staff, and students can meet the goals and objectives of Hope Academy.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Academy Performance
Manage all behavior related services across school-based settings
Development and implementation of programs, procedures and training materials for staff involved with learners with challenging behaviors for the purpose of enhancing programs for learners and ensuring that program operations are in compliance with established guidelines, specifically related to PBSPs, ABA related skill acquisition programming programming, data collection, and goals of learners
Compliance
Ensure services are in compliance with professional standards as well as state and federal regulatory requirements
Ensure service provider integrity in monitoring and managing behavior analytic programming for students and clients on caseload; including selection of targets, creation of data sheets, guidance of teaching strategies and reinforcement schedules, reviewing progress and making modifications to targets or teaching procedures as necessary, and ensuring data collection is being implemented correctly
Communication
Communicate effectively and regularly with faculty, staff, parents and students and document in accordance with Hope’s policies and procedures
Documentation
Ensure accurate and reliable data collection on all IEP goals and other target skills related to ABA curriculum
Ensure completion and documentation of RBT and BCBA candidate supervision
Document all services and support as required
Assessment
Provide training and support in the implementation of skill assessment measures (e.g., VB-MAPP), functional assessment measures, and Crisis Prevention measures
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Master’s Degree
Behavior Specialist License
Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification
Completion of 8-Hour Supervision Course
Experience working with individuals with developmental delays
Clearances & Training Required
Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance
Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance
Act 114 FBI Clearance issued by the Dept of Education
Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
Act 168 from Previous Employers where you came into contact with children
State License of Practice and/or Certification
