***School Day Schedule - School year plus 6 Weeks in the Summer***

WHO YOU ARE
You are an eager individual who is looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the community. As a Paraprofessional, you will collaborate with teachers and therapists to provide support to students with special needs.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Educational Support - Support the teacher by preparing materials, bulletin board displays, exhibits, equipment, and demonstrations for students to use in learning activities
Student Needs and Safety - Supervise and assist students with individual needs in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, school yards, the gross motor room, and on field trips
Collaboration - Maintain working professional relationships with other staff, administration, and students
Other responsibilities as assigned
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Qualifications
Associate’s degree OR 60 academic hours beyond high school
Experience working with individuals with developmental delays
Clearances & Training Required
Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance
Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance
Act 114 FBI Clearance issued by the Dept of Education
Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
Act 168 from Previous Employers where you came into contact with children
CPR/First Aid
TB/Physical
