Credit Analyst (Project Finance)
The Project Finance Credit Analyst works closely with the Group Head and other Analysts to support Project Finance Risk Management in the handling all credit risk related issues regarding Project Finance transactions located in the Americas
DUTIES :
- Securing sustainable credit decisions while respecting risk-oriented capital use in the lending business.
- Independent risk-oriented and targeted analysis of elaborate documentation for credit inquiries (e.g. appraisals, project contracts, forecasts).
- Development and (pre)analysis of financing structures for project financing incl. adjusting analysis of cash flow models, preparing indicative rating and decision regarding further handling of the transaction.
- Support HO in preparation of credit applications.
- Verification of credit documentation and participation in negotiations.
- Identification of credit risks.
- General monitoring and analysis of the credit business in the allocated project finance market. Monitoring and control of the specified portfolio focus.
- Systematic market monitoring (with regard to sectors, technology, insurance, etc.).
- Detection of risk drivers and if necessary, adjustment of cash flow models. Introduction of the necessary internal and external measures to minimize risk.
- Depending on the portfolio structure assisting watchlist and remediation / workout cases.
