What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Attendant - Full Time/Part Time position at The Horse Shoe Farm?
The Horse Shoe Farm is an 85-acre boutique resort in the heart of the Blue Ridge mountains. This spectacular property is looking for the right person to join the team as a Front Desk Attendant, to perform an array of tasks to guarantee excellent guest service. The ideal candidate is a hospitality-driven, detail-oriented, passionate person who can multitask.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Must be tech-savvy or possess a willingness to learn how to use our systems.
- Providing warm, friendly and hospitable concierge services
- Booking reservations via email, phone, and in-person for the homes, restaurant, and spa
- Assisting guests with check-out and check-in
- Assessing maintenance items and bringing a solution-oriented mindset to items that may break or need replacement
- Assist with inspecting rooms, common areas and grounds prior to guests arrival
- Inventorying of guest, retail and office supplies
- Answering guest requests, inquiries and complaints in a prompt, positive and solution-oriented manner, including answering after hours calls
Requirements:
- Represent The Horse Shoe Farm through personal appearance, communication and attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and eye for cleanliness and order
- Demonstrate complete ownership of any task through focus, determination and attention to detail.
- Possess a mindset toward achieving the highest level of service and guest experience possible
- Demonstrate an attitude of teamwork by working collaboratively with peers
- Open and receptive to changing needs and priorities
- Welcome suggestions, feedback, and new ideas from staff and guests
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to run local errands in company vehicle if needed
- Ability to climb stairs, bend and lift up to 35 pounds
