As a Maintenance Technician at The Horse Shoe Farm, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our resort by maintaining the facility’s infrastructure, equipment, and guest amenities. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of systems, from HVAC and plumbing to electrical systems and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of the resort’s systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring quick and efficient resolution of issues.
- Repair or replace defective equipment and systems to maintain the resort’s functionality.
- Maintain the appearance of the resort by performing general repairs and upkeep to guest rooms, public areas, and grounds.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems as needed.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ordering replacements when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Assist in emergency situations, such as power outages or natural disasters, to minimize guest inconvenience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hospitality or resort setting.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work to high standards.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
